CS Video: Tilda Swinton & Luca Guadagnino Talk A Bigger Splash

Fox Searchlight Pictures graciously invited us to their A Bigger Splash press day, where we had the chance to chat on camera with director Luca Guadagnino (I Am Love) and Goddess on Earth Tilda Swinton (Only Lovers Left Alive, Trainwreck, The Grand Budapest Hotel). We talked to them both about Swinton’s decision not to speak for most of the film, as well as their next collaboration, a remake of Dario Argento’s classic Suspiria. We also got to chat briefly with Swinton about her upcoming role as the Ancient One in Marvel’s Doctor Strange. Check out the interview in the player below!

In A Bigger Splash, the lives of a high profile couple, a famous rock star and a filmmaker (Schoenaerts and Swinton), vacationing and recovering on the idyllic sun-drenched and remote Italian island of Pantelleria are disrupted by the unexpected visit of an old friend and his daughter (Fiennes and Johnson) – creating a whirlwind of jealousy, passion and ultimate danger for everyone involved.

Written by David Kajganich (True Story), A Bigger Splash is produced by Michael Costigan and Guadagnino and is scheduled to open in New York and Los Angeles on May 4 and in select theaters nationwide on May 13.
