In the Samuel Bayer-directed film, opening April 16, 2010, Jackie Earle Haley will play the new Freddy Krueger. Co-starring are Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy and Connie Britton.
