Walt Disney Pictures, Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures and Paramount Pictures presented their upcoming 2007 (and some 2008) movies to the International Distribution market at ShoWest in Las Vegas on Monday and ComingSoon.net was on-hand to see the footage, trailers and to learn about the studios’ marketing plans.
Walt Disney Pictures presentation included a first look at movies like Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Ratatouille, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Enchanted and more. You can read about the footage shown here!
The Universal line-up included such films as The Bourne Ultimatum, Evan Almighty, Knocked Up, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, The Mummy 3 and more. You can read about the studio’s presentation here!
Sony presented movies such as Spider-Man 3, Resident Evil: Extinction, Surf’s Up, Hostel: Part II and more, while Paramount’s line-up included Blades of Glory, Stardust, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Shrek the Third, Transformers and more. You can read about those two studio’s presentations here.
On Monday, Isao Matsuoka, Chairman of Japan’s legendary Toho Studios, was presented with the International Lifetime Achievement Award, and filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron was given the International Achievement in Filmmaking Award. To read more on the two awards, click here.
