CS Video: Back in the Day Stars Michael Rosenbaum, Moren Baccarin and Nick Swardson

The debut feature from writer-director-star Michael Rosenbaum, the indie comedy Back in the Day hits theaters in a limited release this weekend. ComingSoon.net sat down with former “Smallville” star and two key members of his ensemble cast, Morena Baccarin (“Firefly,” “Homeland”) and Nick Swardson (30 Minutes or Less, Grown Ups 2), to discuss the project, which brought its entire production to Rosenbaum’s hometown of Newburgh, Indiana.

Rosenbaum stars as Jim Owens, a former Indiana resident trying unsucessfully to make it big as an actor in Hollywood. When Jim decides to head home for a high school reunion, he reunites with a group of friends he hasn’t seen in two decades. He also realizes that he still has strong feelings for “the one that got away,” a girl named Lori (Baccarin), whose wedding is only days away.

Also starring Harland Williams, Sarah Colonna and Isaiah Mustafa, Back in the Day is in theaters January 17 and is available now via VOD.
