The Star Wars News Roundup – 7.5.13

We’re back! Here’s all the latest “Star Wars” information that popped up in the last week as well as a Star Wars: Episode VII nugget that hit while we were on hiatus. Enjoy!

Episode VII and Spinoff Movie News Summary

The biggest news to come out over our hiatus was a breakdown of the “Episode VII” characters from a casting call sheet. The news broke over at Bleeding Cool on June 19:

Late-teen female, independent, good sense of humour, fit.

Young twenty-something male, witty and smart, fit but not traditionally good looking.

A late twentysomething male, fit, handsome and confident.

Seventy-something male, with strong opinions and tough demeanour. Also doesn’t need to be particularly fit.

A second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and fit.

Forty something male, fit, military type.

Thirtysomething male, intellectual. Apparently doesn’t need to be fit.

TheForce.Net confirmed with Lucasfilm that the casting call sheet was legitimate. So, apparently, they need a lot of fit people.
