Wolves at the Door Comes Home

Annabelle director’s home invasion shocker Wolves at the Door hits Digital HD on April 18th

Director John R, Leonetti made a splash with his The Conjuring spin-off flick Annabelle and is set to shock again with his upcoming thriller Wish Upon. And while we wait for the release of the latter horror film, viewers hungry for terror can tune in to the film Leonetti made between those two pictures, the home invasion creeper Wolves at the Door.

The film stars Elizabeth Henstridge, Katie Cassidy and Jane Kaczmarek in a fictionalized riff on the horrific Tate/Labianca murders at the bloody hands of Charles Manson’s minions at the finale of the 1960s. Four friends gather at an elegant home during the Summer of Love, 1969. Unbeknownst to them, deadly visitors are waiting outside. What begins as a simple farewell party turns to a night of primal terror as the intruders stalk and torment the four, who struggle for their lives against what appears to be a senseless attack

Leonetti quoted the horrors of this nation-shaking crime in Annabelle but here the tale is told in a far less fantastical way.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Wolves at the Door on Digital HD on April 18th.
