Did you catch Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn’s The Neon Demon during its theatrical run in the spring? What did you think? The movie was certainly divisive, as are all of Refn’s films. We absolutely loved it. It’s a horror film — think Blood and Black Lace by way of Repulsion — that uses limitless style as its substance in the telling of a tale of corrosive L.A. and the broken young women and predatory men who skulk around its peripherals.
The Neon Demon is now on DVD and Blu-ray in the U.S. and Canada and is also available on most EST (Electronic Sell Through) platforms including iTunes and Google Play.
