The Eli Roth (Hostel, The Green Inferno) produced, John Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming) directed supernatural body horror flick Clown hits Blu-ray and DVD on August 23rd (from Dimension Films and Anchor Bay Entertainment) and we have a couple of copies to give away to two lucky readers.
Clown tells the tender tale of an average dad (Andy Powers) who finds a musty clown suit in an attic and puts it on to entertain his son and his pals at the lad’s birthday party. But after passing out on the couch, he tries to take off the getup the next morning only to find that…it wont come off!
As the dad goes mad trying to scrape off the greasepaint and hack off the red nose, the evil force behind the clown suit starts to take him over, forcing his wife (Laura Allen) to go to some very extreme measures to save her family.
Throw in the great Peter Stormare as a Van Helsing-esque character and you have a fun, gory and deeply weird blackly comic horror movie/monster mash that is as chilling as it is perverse.
