English language Spanish shocker SUMMER CAMP to release this year.
Variety reported today that Televisa-Lionsgate joint venture Pantelion, Hollywood’s first Latino film studio, is finally gearing up to release the English-language version of the viral outbreak horror film SUMMER CAMP, which we reported on back in 2014 HERE.
The film is produced by Julio Fernandezs Filmax , the Spanish company behind the REC franchise, Peter Safrans the Safran Co. (THE CONJURING) and Pantelion, which holds the rights to the Americas.
SUMMER CAMP is directed by SLEEP TIGHT writer Alberto Marini and is executive produced by that film’s director and REC legend Jaume Balaguero.
Pantelion will release the film later this year, presumably…in the summer. Duh. But we’ll let you know when a release date is indeed confirmed.
