Horror icon Angus Scrimm passes away at age 89.
SHOCK has just learned about the passing of yet another beloved actor who made their mark in fantastical films: PHANTASM legend Angus Scrimm, who passed away yesterday at the age of 89.
Born Lawrence Rory Guy, Scrimm became an instant horror icon after director Don Coscarelli cast him as the intergalactic grave robber “The Tall Man” in his 1979 indie hit PHANTASM. Scrimm would not only reprise the roll in every subsequent PHANTASM film (including the upcoming PHANTASM: RAVAGER), he would go on to become one of the most prolific genre actors in history,
