Los Angeles! See Killer Wasp Creature Feature Stung, Free!

Hoping for a late night creature feature to truly satiate your goopy, gory needs? The mega fun and very gross killer wasp flick, Stung is playing Los Angeles on Friday, June 19th and Shock Till You Drop has several tickets to give away!

Stung is an all-out giant bug attack. Toxins force southern wasps to mutate in size and proceed to burst out of the garden party attendees they sting. It’s largely practical, mucky, slimy and bloody, and note-perfect for a late night Friday show.

IFC Midnight releases Stung on July 3rd. Before then, on June 19th, they’ll be hosting a free screening for monster lovers with the filmmakers and horror legend Lance Henriksen in attendance. If you’d like to attend, just e-mail [email protected] with the subject I want to get Stung, and leave your full name.

Directed by Benni Diez, Stung is set in “a remote country villa amid foggy rural farmlands, where the elderly widow of a pharmaceutical magnate holds an annual garden party for the local elite in honor of her late husband. But the festivities take a grisly turn when a plague of giant killer wasps is unleashed on the unsuspecting partygoers, leaving the caterers Julia and Paul pitted against the seven-foot mutant predators in a deadly fight for survival.”

Matt O’Leary, Julia Cook, Clifton Collins Jr. and Lance Henriksen star. For more, see Shock’s review of the film right here.
