It Follows on DVD & Blu this July; Shock on Critics’ Commentary

David Robert Mitchell’s It Follows is coming to Blu-ray and DVD this July, where not only can you revisit this eerie, spectacular indie horror film, but here even more of Shock’s discussing just how great it is.

Today, Radius-TWC and Anchor Bay announced a July 14th date for It Follows on Blu & DVD. The film, about a sexually transmitted curse, will come accompanied with a featurette on its terrific score by Disasterpeace, as well as a Critics’ Commentary, which I’m fortunate to say I was a part of, as was Shock’s The Beyond columnist Alison Nastasi.

Moderated by Scott Weinberg (Nerdist, the missed FEARNet), the Critics’ Commentary is a rotating discussion over the film featuring Britt Hayes (Screencrush, Birth.Movies.Death), Alison Nastasi (Flavorwire, Shock Till You Drop), Eric Snider (MovieBS), Eric Vespe (Ain’t It Cool News) and myself. We each took on ~15 minute sections of the film discussing aesthetic, character, influence, theme and much more.

It Follows will also find itself On Demand on July 14th and available for digital download earlier on July 3rd. For more on the film, see Shock’s review right here.
