Watching and Killing: The Full Trailer for Sinister 2

Buhguul targets a pair of twins as Sinister 2 seems to further exploit the fears that what we watch might affect us in terrible ways.

The full trailer for Sinister 2 opens with a clip from Night of the Living Dead, the excerpt in which young Karen Cooper attacks her parents. The movie is turned off and reflected in the screen are Sinister 2’s twins, who’ll seemingly join the ranks of Buhguul’s band of murderous children. “It’s not real” says one of the young boys in regard to Romero’s zombie classic, but the aim of the Sinister series seems to be asking, “what if it is?” What if something can cross over, from via screen or supernatural barrier.

In Sinister 2, one of the young twins is clearly under Buhguul’s influence, while the first film’s Deputy So and So (James Ransome) attempts to stop the demon’s spread of evik. Shannyn Sossamon stars, Citadel’s Ciaran Foy directs and Focus Features releases August 21.
