Rob Kazinsky to be TV’s Freaky Frankenstein Monster

Fox’s Frankenstein series now sounds like something out of an 80s body switch movie.

Deadline reports Rob Kazinsky (True Blood) will essay the monster in the upcoming show, which molds Shelley’s classic tale into the the form of a “morally corrupt retired cop” who’s reanimated with the body of a fit ass marine, but still retains the mind of a 75 year-old curmudgeon. It’s like a jaded vet/hot rookie buddy cop rolled into a Freaky Friday! I hope the body uses an iPad, while the mind revolts.

Frankenstein is created and produced by Rand Ravich (Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh) and Howard Gordon (The X-Files, Buffy, 24).
