This is all part of the process when you embark on a crowd-funded film, but it’s worth noting that Rob Zombie is going to be talking to fans tomorrow (August 8th) at 1pm EST/10pm Pacific. It’s all going down via the official site for Zombie’s 31, the writer-director’s next film which he has decided to crowd-fund. The chat is naturally a way to generate more awareness and offer some more details about the film.
To date, the project has gathered over 1,200 backers since its July 31st launch. The highest contributor I’ve seen has donated $10k, but how much is Zombie trying to raise?
Maybe someone can find out tomorrow.
Per Zombie: “You can ask questions on Twitter using the hashtag #RZ31, via Facebook under the “Live Stream Launches Now” post or in the comments section at RZ-31.com. I’ll get to as many as I can.”
I’ll jump into the chat tomorrow and see what details we can get.
31 is said to concern five people who are kidnapped and forced to survive a night filled with masked maniacs and murderers.
