Cards of Death Surfacing on Bleeding Skull Video VHS Release

It’s the first film to see a release from the newly-launched Bleeding Skull Video, a company spearheaded by Joseph A. Ziemba and Zack Carlson (collaborators on the trash-horror film website, BleedingSkull.com) with the help of Mondo.

Bleeding Skull will specialize in ultra-obscure, no-budget horror and exploitation movies from the 1980s and early 1990s!  It’s described as a VHS and digital streaming label that is dedicated to sharing unreleased (or barely released) movies with the world.

Now, regarding Cards of Death, this American production was formerly released on VHS exclusively in Japan and then disappeared and is considered the “holy grail of slasher films.”

The film appeared on my doorstep over the holiday break…chunky VHS packaging and all. Very eager to dive into this one.

Stay tuned for more release news from Bleeding Skull Video and look for Cards of Death on June 24th.
