Roger Corman and Joe Dante, and even Dick Miller, were in attendance at last night “Kings of Cult” art show reception at Hero Complex in Los Angeles this weekend.
This latest gallery welcomed various artists to pay tribute to the works of these two men, from Attack of the Crab Monsters and The Masque of Red Death to The Howling and Gremlins (a lot of Gremlins). Hell, a couple of artists even tipped a loving hat to Dante’s Small Soldiers.
I swung by to salivate over the prints for sale (I never did snag that Piranha piece I coveted) and took a handful of photos for those of you out there who can’t make it to this show that runs until June 8th. Below you’ll find a look at the art as well as the props on display from Gremlins, The Howling, Explorers and Innerspace!
