A trailer for The Shelter, starring Michael Pare, has made its debut this morning. The supernatural thriller marks the feature directorial debut of colleague John Fallon (Arrow in the Head!).
On a star filled night, widower and homeless man Thomas Jacobs (Michael Paré) finds shelter for the night when he falls upon a vast two story house with the lights on and an inviting open front door. He strolls on in thinking he just caught a lucky break and for a while, it would appear as though he did. But soon enough, he realizes that the house won’t let him leave, as its doors are all locked while its windows cannot be opened or broken. Destiny has brought Thomas to this place. What does it want from him? Will he survive the ordeal?
Fallon says: “Although Holbrook Multi-Media and I are still in the early stages of post-production at the moment, assembling our first rough cut, we wanted to whip up this teaser trailer for all of our supporters out there, cast and crew and to provide a taste of the picture to potentials buyers at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. We are looking forward to covering the festival circuit once we’re done and bringing the finished film to the 2014 American Film Market in November 2014.”
The film also stars Gayle James, Rachel Whittle, Lauren Thomas, Anastasia Brooke, Thomas Johnston and Amy Wickenheiser.
