It seems that doc’s writer and producer Tommy Hutson has, according to a press release (courtesy of Dread Central), “written a coffee table book detailing the original Wes Craven classic in a way no one has before. This over 200-page, hardcover tome is entitled Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy – The Making of Wes Craven’s “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and is the ultimate look at the scary, thrilling and groundbreaking 1984 film.”
But…I thought the doc was the ultimate look? I mean, it’s pretty exhaustive as it stands. However, I like to have something that’s going to sit on my shelf that I can reach for during times of research. It sounds like this book will have new interviews with other cast and crew members not involved in the doc.
