“The world ends, Godzilla begins.” So reads the tagline for 2014’s Godzilla, according to an international theater lobby standee found via some message board thanks to Godzilla-Movies. You can’t see much other than a tail. Something tells me we’re going to get a lot of that in the print campaigns based on the advertising so far.
The film, opening May 16, 2014, is a reimagining of the King of the Monsters directed by Gareth Edwards. The film pits the big guy against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston star.
