Fox is doing a bit of reshuffling as far as the finale of Sleepy Hollow and the season two debut of The Following is concerned. Sleepy Hollow will now conclude its first season in a special two-hour event on Monday, January 20th from 8-10pm ET/PT.
The Following, meanwhile, will stick to its original plan to debut season two "special preview" on Sunday, January 19th with the official season premiere to kick off on Monday, January 27th (not the 20th, as originally planned).
In the first hour of the two-hour Sleepy Hollow season finale event, "The Indispensable Man," Ichabod (Tom Mison) and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) discover a massive secret buried within the pages of George Washington's Bible and unearth the shocking true nature of the founding father's death. Meanwhile, Captain Irving (Orlando Jones) makes a near-impossible decision for the sake of his beloved family that drastically changes his future. Then, in "Bad Blood," the battle between good and evil comes to an explosive head – sacrifices must be made, worlds collide, loyalties are tested and the town of Sleepy Hollow will never be the same – resulting in a haunting first season finale.
The special season two preview of The Following, entitled "Resurrection" and airing Sunday, January 19th (10:00-11:00 PM ET/7:00-8:00 PM PT), immediately after the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME (live, 6:00-10:00 PM ET), catches up with Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon), in the wake of a horrific new murder spree, which furthers his suspicion that Joe Carroll's (James Purefoy) reign of terror is far from over.
