Carrying on the “horror TV” trend that’s getting hotter by the moment, Lifetime is giving us Lizzie Borden Took An Axe, a made-for-TV movie starring Christina Ricci.
Lifetime has been dabbling in horror this season with Witches of East End and, come January 25th, it will tell the story of Lizzie Borden the woman who was tried and aquitted in the late 1800s for murdering her father and stepmother with an axe.
Billy Campbell and Clea Duvall will star in the film. I can’t really tell if this is going to be a period piece, however…
