I have a great fantasy that I will probably make a reality of directing my own self-financed horror movie, Bay said, adding. I love this genre because the movie is the star.
Bay, as you know, is one of the central producers at Platinum Dunes, the company behind many contemporary remakes like Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Amityville Horror.
Whether Bay gets around to this horror movie he’d like to make remains to be seen. Pain & Gain was one of those personal projects he wanted to do and it took years to get made, so maybe he’ll make it happen.
