The event celebrates Californias Halloween, haunt, and horror community and fans with two full days of presentations, industry panels, hands-on workshops, and an exhibitor show floor. The ScareLA program will feature sneak-previews and behind the scenes insights into the most anticipated 2013 Halloween events in the region.

- Jason Blum Presentation A presentation by horror film producer Jason Blum (“The Purge,” the “Paranormal Activity” series, “Sinister” and “Insidious”), who recently made a splash on the L.A. Halloween scene with his interactive haunt production named “The Blumhouse of Horrors.”
- Dead Right Horror Trivia Come on down! You’re the next contestant on the trivia game that will test your skills of horror, Halloween, and haunt knowledge. Hosted by Ryan Turek of Shock Till You Drop and Rebekah McKendry of Fangoria. There will be prizes!
- How To Be A Marketing and PR Monster Pack the house with fans and freaks this Halloween season! Create a marketing plan, learn how to pitch to scary press, how to advertise on a budget, run social media rotten and get ready to sell tickets like a rockin’ monster. Join ScareLA creator Lora Ivanova (Haunted Play: DELUSION & HAuNTcon), Ryan Turek (Shock Till You Drop) and special industry guests for quick tips, how-tos and a Q&A.
- Amber Benson reads “The 13 Nights of Halloween” Actress Amber Benson (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) reads Guy Vasilovich’s “12 Days of Christmas” inspired children’s book, “The 13 Nights of Halloween.” Presented by Dark Delicacies.
