The Twilight Zone to Return to Television

According to Deadline, Bryan Singer is spearheading the effort to revive the brand on the small screen.  He will develop, produce and (possibly) direct.  Because it is so early in this project’s journey, it is too soon to tell where the series will land (Deadline speculates CBS) or who else will contribute.

The Twilight Zone was created by the great Rod Serling and it first aired in 1959.  An anthology film in the ’80s brandished the brand and paved the way for the series’ small screen resurrection in ’85.

Currently, another Twilight Zone movie is kicked around Warner Bros. with writers and directors coming and going.  Leonardo DiCaprio is on board to produce.
