Wes Craven and Steve Niles Are Teaming Up for Coming of Rage

Others have echoed that perhaps he should just retire, however, we never truly want to see our horror icons fade away, right?  Besides, wouldn’t we want to see them go out with a bang rather than a wimper? (That’s depending on how you feel about My Soul to Take and Scream 4, I suppose.)

Well, Craven fans will be pleased to know that he’s collaborating with another horror vet for a new project.  According to Deadline, Craven and Steve Niles are uniting for Coming of Rage, a comic book that is also being groomed for the big screen.

Sadly, there are no plot details to analyze as everyone is keeping their lips sealed about the story.  So, we have this teaser image to scrutinize.  By the looks of it, we have a hirsuite hand (perhaps a werewolf?), a hand with pointy finger nails (mmmm, a vampire?), a decayed hand (zombie?) and, well, I don’t know that last hand’s story.

Liquid Comics will release Coming of Rage in 2013.  Producer Arnold Rifkin is developing the film with the publisher.
