Not quite sure what to make of it as it flies in the face of all I’ve heard story-wise. If there’s a horror element, it lies in the ambiguous visions of muscle, teeth and hair we see scattered throughout the preview (apparently, this is a werewolf story?). The film is touting two things: Animated sequences by the Quay Brothers (yay!) and new music by co-star Kylie Minogue (er, yay?).
Look for the film to hit VOD September 28th. A limited theatrical run follows November 2nd, courtesy of Magnolia.
