AMC Traps Strangers in 99 Stories

AMC is already looking ahead at its Monsterfest programming, which runs every fall and received a   signifcant boost when The Walking Dead made its debut in 2010.  For this October, the network is developing 99 Stories, a thriller to be written by David Seltzer and James Middleton (The Sarah Connor Chronicles).

The Hollywood Reporter says the series is going to be “set in a new 99-story high-rise building in which a group of strangers gets trapped.”

Seltzer, who penned the original The Omen, told the outlet, “Each story presents a different kind of challenge for the group. The elevators are in control of destiny, whittling them out by deciding who they deem deserve to go up.”
