Simon Rumley (The Living and the Dead, Red White & Blue) is set to helm Stranger, a thriller chase movie located in the heart of rural China.
Inspired by Duel, Rumley penned the script which is being produced by Mark Foligno (The King’s Speech) and Bob Portal (Red White & Blue).
Casting begins this week and filming is expected to begin early 2012.
Rumley is also developing The Cherished One, written by Lena Rae, a serial killer thriller about a maniac in Texas who uses his young daughter to entice his victims.
The filmmaker recently wrapped his chapter of the upcoming anthology The ABCs of Death.
