Writer found for follow-up to 2010 film
If you didn’t think there was room for The Last Exorcism, think again.
Heat Vision reports the producers of the first film are moving forward on a sequel to the 2010 found footage film. Production will begins in the coming months with Damien Chazelle penning the script.
You have to wonder what direction they’ll take with the follow-up given how the first film – starring Patrick Fabian and Ashley Bell – concluded. Without spoiling anything, it was pretty heavy.
Either they’ll pick up where that film left off, or, clean the slate and focus on another exorcist.
Studio Canal will finance. No director has been announced.
