Another Classic “Monster” Heads to the Small Screen

ABC…meet Hyde

ABC has picked up a potential new series called Hyde.

Yes, it’s a spin on the classic “Jekyll and Hyde” and it follows a man named Grant Hyde who, after experimenting with a drug to improve his vision, turns into something else after he falls asleep.

Sheldon Turner is writing with Jennifer Klein. Turner penned Up in the Air, but his horror credits include The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and a bit of rewriting on The Amityville Horror.

Classic monsters are seeing a resurgence on the small screen. NBC just ordered up a modern version of Frankenstein. What…no Creature from the Black Lagoon CSI-like show?
