• More short form horror from Drew Daywalt…

• The trailer for Sergio Luca Loreni’s R.O.A.C.H., courtesy of Splatter Container. “The story of R.O.A.C.H. is set in a not too distant future and it is composed of several intertwined stories occurring at the same time. • Back to the Beyond has been acquired by Gravitas Ventures. Completed in Maine and directed by Kevin DiBacco, the film is a modern adaptation of the ’50s television show One Step Beyond.

• We’ve been hit with the trailer for The Bloodfest Club, a short horror-comedy about “a Chuck Norris-obsessed high school janitor is forced to confront the face of evil on graduation night.” A feature-length film is in development.

• Saw co-creator and writer of Insidious, Leigh Whannell, tells Bleeding Cool he’s got a new script.

“I actually just wrote a comedy about a zombie virus that breaks out in a primary school but only effects people who haven’t been through puberty. There’s all these eight or nine year olds running around and the teachers are holed up inside the school. And the title of the film is…? Cooties. That’s just an out and out comedy.”
