Ghoul, Steve Niles’ Remains Going to Chiller

Two original productions for 2011

Television’s horror network Chiller – much like SyFy – is getting in on the “original” production game.

The channel announced it has two films on the way, which will make their premiere later this year. The first is Ghoul – which made news yesterday and is based on the novel by Brian Keene.

The second is an adaptation of Steve Niles’ graphic novel “Remains,” a zombie apocalypse tale set in Reno, Nevada. John Doolan is scripting and Colin Theys is directing.

“Remains” has a rather large scope – given its setting – let’s hope the film does the story justice.

In other Chiller news, the network is going to air Chiller 13: Horror’s Creepiest Kids.
