Susco, Verbinski Take Starz to The Brink

Based on the novel “Personal Effects”

Stephen Susco penned a potential new series for Starz called The Brink.

Described as a dash of House, CSI and The X-Files, Brink is based on the novel “Personal Effects: Dark Art” by J.C. Hutchins.

Gore Verbinski (Rango) will executive produce. Susco’s credits include The Grudge films and Red (the Jack Ketchum adaptation, not the Bruce Willis film).

The Brink focuses on the life of a serial killer who, says Deadline, “claims to have foreseen, but not caused, his victims’ deaths.”
