DVD Details for Upcoming Poe Anthology Film

Five tales of terror

The horror anthology Edgar Allen Poe’s Requiem for the Damned is heading direct to DVD and VOD on July 5 from Hannover House.

Requiem for the Damned features five, contemporary presentations of classic tales of terror by Edgar Allen Poe, including “The Fall of the House of Usher,” “The Tell Tale Heart,” “The Black Cat,” “The Pit and the Pendulum” and “Murders in the Rue Morgue.”

The segments were directed by Johnny Bones, Tony Baez Milan, Aaron J. Shelton, Anthony Vingas and Tinnell. Writers engaged to adapt the Poe stories were Robert F. Keith along with segment directors Milan, Shelton and Tinnell.

The home video release from Hannover House will include individual items in both the DVD and Blu-Ray formats, as well as a combination DVD/Blu-Ray Collector’s two-pack that will feature a collectible book edition of the original Poe stories, alongside the screen adaptations created for the film. Promotions for the video release will include targeted publicity and ads targeted to reach fans of science-fiction and horror films.
