Shooting this spring in Texas
Brad Maule and Kasey Lansdale have joined the cast of upcoming Joe R. Lansdale zombie opus Christmas With the Dead, the film adaptation of the author’s holiday tale.
The film, which is currently in pre-production, will begin shooting this June in Texas and centers around Calvin (played by Damian Maffei) who after years of dealing with loneliness, the grief of losing his family, and zombies…decides it’s Christmas Eve.
And yes, Kasey Lansdale is the daughter of author Joe.
The cast and crew of the film will be at Stony Brook, New York’s I-Con convention (April 15-17). There, attendees will learn how they can be a part of the film!
