Banshee’s Got a Date With SyFy

Steven C. Miller has completed post-production on Scream of the Banshee which only means one thing: Time to see this damn thing!

SyFy has taken the debut rights and will air the film Saturday, March 26. Check your listings for times.

Banshee, starring Lance Henriksen and Lauren Holly, was originally slated to open last Friday with five other “After Dark Originals,” but the film needed more time to finish post.

Synopsis: When a college Professor opens up a strange, ornate box discovered in the basement of a University, she and her students hear a horrifying scream belonging to a bloodthirsty banshee. They’re relieved when it stops, but that scream insidiously begins to haunt all that heard it in strange and surreal ways. At first dismissing the Irish folklore that if you hear a Banshee scream, you will die, they discover soon find the folklore is truer than they could have imagined, as the starts taking their lives.
