Actor on the upcoming sequel(s)
Former Candyman Tony Todd had a bit to say to the press about Final Destination 5 this week while out promoting the DVD and Blu-Ray release of Hatchet II.
In the film, Todd reprises his role as “Bludworth,” the mystery man seen in the first and second entries (for the third he was relegated to doing vocal work). “Thumbs up! Thumbs way up,” he told Dread Central. “They expanded my part, and the producer told me as we were leaving Vancouver that if it opens at number one â which statistically it has â they’re going to shoot the next two simultaneously.”
Back-to-back Final Destinations? Unprecedented in the series. Usually, the producers took their time.
Final Destination 5 is due out August 26.
