And he can’t put his phone down
Every year, there’s at least one genre film that stirs up a Sundance audience. Lucky McKee’s The Woman appears to be that film.
Some posted the following video on YouTube, a slice of life captured in a theater lobby involving one irate man who found the film deplorable and he explains why…all the while holding his iPhone up – apparently to record his own rant. It’s all very dramatic.
McKee’s latest film made its world premiere at Sundance; a follow-up to Offspring, the story concerns a successful country lawyer who captures and attempts to “civilize” the last remaining member of a violent clan that has roamed the Northeast coast for decades, he puts the lives of his family in jeopardy.
