Our own Silas Lesnick said this was Shock worthy, so we’ll take his word for it. Shock got its dirty mitts on the lurid red band trailer for Burning Palms, a preview filled with weirdness, good looking folks (Zoe Saldana and Jamie Chung alert!) and a lot of people seemingly “taking it” from behind. Ah, the naughtiness of it all.
Christopher Landon wrote and directed this anthology. He also penned Disturbia and he was brought in to write Paranormal Activity 2. What’s this flick about? The official synopsis says it’s “a subversive tale that interlaces five stories set in Los Angeles, where no taboo is left unexplored as each character careens toward a dark and often comic fate.”
Lake Bell, Rosamund Pike, Dylan McDermott and many more star. It opens in limited release January 14.
