Horror Filmmakers Want to Break Guiness Record

The Deadlines now in pre-production

Let’s admit it, horror has arguably been fairly weak as of late. And now, more than ever, I think we should be expecting more from the genre, pushing filmmakers to push themselves and the limits of cinema.

So if it comes between a strong gimmick or a strong film, I’ll ask for the latter. Can writer-director Jason Sanders and Blake Hooks pull off both? Time will tell.

The duo are presently in pre-production on The Deadlines. Here’s the catch, they’re going to shoot the 90-minute film in 24 hours, thus an attempt to break a world record.

Paul Wolverton will star as Simon Woodburn, a famous author who suddenly dies and leaves an unfinished novel in the hands of Travis in “The Deadlines.”
