A new great white shark thriller
During principal photography, the team behind The Reef had cut together a sales trailer that was nothing more than a teaser with some second unit underwater photography. A new trailer has been cobbled together with actual footage from director Andrew (Black Water) Traucki’s latest.
Damian Walshe-Howling, Zoe Naylor, Gyton Grantley, Adrienne Pickering and Kieran Darcy-Smith star in the film as four friends who are forced to swim ashore when their boat capsizes in the Great Barrier Reef. There, they are stalked by a 15-foot great white shark.
Traucki tried to keep everything practical so that shark you see…that’s the real deal.
