Cast update on Craven’s sequel
More solid info on the ever expanding cast of Scream 4.
Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) has indeed signed up for the sequel. When her name was previously mentioned in connection with the film, it was merely rumor. Variety, however, confirms today that she’ll join Emma Roberts (who joined the cast yesterday) and returning cast members Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette.
Shooting begins in late June in Michigan. The fourth chapter in the series, directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson, opens on April 15, 2011.
