Jennifer Lynch Produces Cujo-esque The Compound

Mother, son take on pit bulls

In the vein of Cujo comes Corey Brandenstein’s The Compound, a film that’s bound to rile up the likes of dog rescue groups, furthermore, those that have spent years trying to erase the stigma surrounding pit bulls.

Jennifer Lynch (Surveillance) is producing the project which is in an early stage of pre-production. Brandenstein’s script follows a pack of prized pit bulls who turn on a professional underground dog fighter then turn on a single mother, struggling to raise her son. The two are then put through the ultimate test for survival.

There is no official casting news to report yet because this puppy is still a ways out from principal photography. You can check out this teaser trailer, however, that Brandenstein directed to attract interest.
