Indie Watch: John Skipp Prepping Rose 3D

The undead variety show

John Skipp (co-author of “The Bridge” and many more splatterpunk offerings) and zombies have long skipped alongside one another through the graveyard. So it comes as no surprise that he’s at work on the undead sugar rush that comes in the form of Rose 3D.

Judging by the official site, the project is moving right along but still seeking funds. Skipp describes it as Pee Wee’s Playhouse meets Night of the Living Dead: 48 hours into the undead apocalypse, one woman has managed to stay on the air. She’s a hot ex-mental patient with a message of hope, a baseball bat, and her puppet friends.

There are song ‘n dance numbers and other shenanigans. Check out the official site for a look at Rose.
