Hammer Films Teams with Dark Horse

Let Me In adaptation coming

It goes without saying that Dark Horse Comics is a friend of the horror genre. They’ve revived “Creepy” and provided the genre with countless horror sequels, adaptations and original stories. Now they’re teaming up with Hammer Films!

Up first, a spin on the October 1 release Let Me In, itself an American redo of Let the Right One In. Presently, no one is revealing what the storyline is, but it will be inspired by the story of a 12-year-old boy who strikes up a bond with his neighbor, a vampire.

No word on Dark Horse or Hammer’s plans past their Let Me In project, but here’s to hoping they take a cue from some of Hammer’s older catalog!

The “Let Me In” graphic novel will be distributed in stores in conjunction with its theatrical release from Overture Films in October.
