Nearly ten years ago, a young filmmaker jumped onto the genre scene with an indie film that made audiences squirm, laugh and scream. That film was Cabin Fever and it launched the career of Eli Roth who’d go on to direct two Hostel films, a faux grindhouse trailer called Thanksgiving and star in Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof and Inglourious Basterds.
Lionsgate revisits Fever this month with a handsome-looking new cut of Roth’s film on Blu-Ray and a sequel, Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever. Below you’ll find our coverage of both releases!
