A zombie love story
Isaac Marion’s novel “Warm Bodies” has attracted the likes of Summit Entertainment.
The company has tapped Jonathan Levine to write and direct. Levine helmed The Wackness as well as All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, which has still not been released in the U.S.
“Warm Bodies,” described as a “zombie romancer,” is going to press this summer courtesy of Atria Books.
According to Variety, the film focuses on a zombie “who begins an unlikely friendship with the girlfriend of one of his victims and starts a chain reaction that will transform him and his fellow zombies.”
Love and zombies has been explored in various film including Zombie Honeymoon. Diablo Cody has her own take coming up, an adaptation of “Breathers: A Zombie Lament.”
