Harrelson, Eisenberg circling sequel
The Hollywoood trades continue to follow the leads of various sites like this one and our buddies at Moviehole. Tonight, Variety has confirmed – what was mentioned last week – that director Reuben Fleischer is returning for Zombieland 2.
Sony is reportedly finalizing deals to “bring the gang back” for another entry and it will, indeed, be in 3D.
“Everyone had fun watching (the first) Zombieland; making it a more visceral experience can only make it better,” producer Gavin Polone tells the site. “I don’t think you want to see Ordinary People in 3-D. But Zombieland is clearly one movie that will benefit from (the technique).”
Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg are in talks to reprise their roles.
