Comic book scribe Philip Gelatt’s directorial debut
Comic book writer Philip Gelatt will make his directorial debut with the indie flick County Road K, a twist on the home-invasion horror genre according to Variety. He also penned the script.
“I’m fascinated by the macabre little stories that occur off the main roads of Middle America,” says Gelatt. “And County Road K is exactly that kind of tale: small, twisted and unsettling.”
The film is set to star Patrick Breen (Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant), Alexandra Chando, Nina Lisandrello and Charlie Hewson.
Production kicks off next month in New Jersey.
